Time for some updates. Most of them you won't notice, but here are some things you probably will notice.

• Some bugfixes and improvements on GMC. This should get rid of any errors you've been getting.
• Recoding of the item shop. If you find any bugs, report them asap!
• Added around 60 new headgears, all available in the Item Shop right now. The slotted mids are available at Chiqita, too. These were almost all the remaining official hats, so future new headgears will most likely be custom ones, but only nice ones obviously. For now we've added 4 new customs.
• Changed the effects of the Antenna Hat. The autotrigger for Thunderstorm has now become Lightning Bolt.
• Fixed the Memory Book combo.

Also remember, the Loading Screen Contest deadline is nearing. Join while you still can!

So since August 4th, Gravity has dramatically changed the way people on kRO patch and login. For whatever weird reason, they are now required to go on the RO website, login and start the game from there. Now, this will not affect us too much (apart from it being a bit harder for the GMs to release new clients), but there is one thing that does affect us.

For some people (I don't get the problem for example), when opening Ragnarok_RE.exe, it now takes you to the kRO website instead of patching. Because of this, we wouldn't be able to keep updating anymore if too many people got that problem.

Luckily, a nice person on eAthena has built a Lite Patcher, which is pretty much a stripped version of the official patcher. This patcher still works and will continue to work unless Gravity changes the way they patch dramatically.

So please run your TalonPatch.exe to download this file. It's called RagnarokPatch.exe and it's best to use this to patch your Renewal data (rdata.grf) with. If Ragnarok_RE.exe still works for you, you can keep using it of course, but we recommend using RagnarokPatch.exe now, instead!

Known issue: Avira AntiVir reports this as a virus. However, it's a false positive, so there's nothing to worry about.

So yeah, I wasn't really a fan of making another one of these events because of the low participation on past events. Some people requested having one though, so here it is, a Loading Screen Contest!
