TalonRO - Impossible is nothing - Free Ragnarok Online Server

It's time for some new loading screens!

About everything on the server had a major update, but the current loading screens are over a year old. So it's time for some fresh ideas!

As we have some great artists on the forum, it would be awesome to have art of "our artists" in the loading screens. Several of them have given permission to use their art in the loading screens. You can refer to this topic to find the artists who gave permission.

Requirements
There are a couple of rules that your wallpapers will have to apply to:

- Must be in 1024x768 format
- Needs the title "TalonRO" well visible. You can use any clear font, but you can also use the official logo. For the logo, refer to this topic
- If using the art of one of our artists, do give them proper credit for it (a small text saying "Art by ..." will do)
- Has to be related to RO obviously

Prizes
Naturally there will be prizes to be won! We will pick 10 winners, who will win a prize of 10 Talon Coins.
You can submit as many loading screens as you want, and multiple of your entries can be selected. However, you can only win a prize once.

Deadline
The deadline of this contest will close at August 10 (we love 10's!), so you will have enough time to make some great entries.

Push CTRL + F5. After doing that, I'm sure I don't need to tell you what the update is (if you don't, just look carefully).

This was a project that me and GM Seiren worked on closely. Big props to him for the new design. There are also some new content as well, which was spearheaded by GM Faith.

The functionality overall has increased as well. There is a new registration page as well, one that is quite a bit more secure than the temporary one. The screenshot/video page is up now as well.

All in all, hope you guys enjoy. Take some time and explore the new site. Please let me know if you find any bugs.

Yeah really, some of you might have noticed that I was kinda inactive in the last few days.

The reason is simple, I joined the army. Well 'joined', you could say that I was forced to join for 9 months. For the next 3 months I will live 560km from my hometown in some stinky old barracks.

Means that I'm only at home during the weekends, except today.

Just wanted to stop by and say HELLO and let you know that I'm still alive.

I've noticed that a few of you had trouble at times updating your tickets with new messages. I looked into it further and I believe it is now fixed. If there are any further issues with the tickets not updating with new posts, please let me know asap so I can fix it.

June's month of updates continues.

New Class SQIs

Are now fully implemented and available, this includes the following

Hiira Shurikat - Ninja
Scouter - Gunslinger
Eversong Greaves - TaeKwon and Star Gladiator
Ghostdancer Staff - Soul Linker
Blade of Angels - Super Novice


Bugs within the SQIs have been fixed, furthermore they have been submitted to a minor review. Notably the Shurikat is much more effective now, Check in game for the new effects.



New Guild Dungeon

The Arunafeltz Guild Dungeon is now accessible via the warp girl

The Schwartzvald Guild Dungeon is now only accessible via controlling a Schwartzvald Guild Castle in WoE 2.0



Novice Items

Shops have been placed outside Prontera exits, this won't mean much to you, but it will hopefully stop new players missing them altogether!

Novice breast plate now gives +2000hp



Moscovia
Now has more NPCs and the Dungeon warps are more accurate and characterful.

It is by no means complete, But the translation process from Korean to English is grueling.



Loli Ruri Spawns
In Valley of Gyoll (nif_fild02) have been increased



Glasthiem Churchyard
Spawn rates have been increased

Various NPC Edits
- Wedding Staff NPC can now marry and divorce you.
- Platinum skill NPC now gives first class job skills correctly.
- Job changer now gifts players 10,000z and a class specific weapon on job change!
- Donation NPC can now convert Talon Coins back into website-based Donation Points



Savepoints and New Maps
If your client crashes as a result of not being up to date and entering a new dungeon, you will automatically be sent to your save point.
